It was good (as usual) to be in London, my exam went well and I was able to relax a bit. I went to a very interesting exhibition on Moctezuma (see photo) at the British Museum, saw a couple of dear friends and two films on vampires (a trendy subject nowadays). One of the things I really loved was a chicken soup I had for one of my speedy lunches, absolutely delicious!!!

I have been in the belly of the whale...
it was warm in there
I stayed there for a few days,
then left it
it was too good to be there
almost dangerous
now I am outside the whale again
and look for a door (enchanted door)
even a tiny little pathway
to get in again

a big white whale
I have been chasing for years.

My research is a fluid entity,
sometimes it runs away
without telling me anything;
sometimes it comes to me
like a little baby
who wants to be cradled.

My research is my malady
and my salvation...

I do not want to chase it any longer,
I want to ride it!
