When one of your projects gets rejected is like receiving a soft slap on your face. Soft because it is well dressed with nice words, but it is like a sublte little bomb which can blow your self-esteem up and virtually stop (at least for a while) you from doing what you are doing. It is not nice, but it constantly happens. You feel like you can't go on, but you do go on (just to quote Samuel Beckett) and new projects are generated.
